Last Updated: May 18, 2018

General

This Privacy Policy describes the practices that 2pensmedia, Inc. follows with respect to the collection, use, maintenance, and disclosure of information collected through the Coinnect software application (“Coinnect”). This Privacy Policy applies only to information we collect through Coinnect, and does not apply to any other website, application, or business activity of 2pensmedia. By using Coinnect, you consent to the collection, use, maintenance and disclosure of this information by us.

We reserve the right to revise this policy at any time. When we do, we will give you notice of the revised Privacy Policy by posting the revised Privacy Policy on Coinnect and by revising the “effective date” at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are responsible for regularly reviewing the current privacy policy.

We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy data. We will use the information we collect about you in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018.

Information We Collect

“Personally identifiable information” is information that tells us who you are or allows us to contact you, such as your name, phone number, physical address, payment information, and email address. “Device information” is information collected from your mobile device whenever you visit or use Coinnect, such as your IP address and technical data and related information regarding your device.

Personally Identifiable Information

We may collect personally identifiable information when you use or create an account with Coinnect or edit or update account information, when you make a purchase via Coinnect, complete surveys or other online forms, enter sweepstakes or other contests, or if you voluntarily choose to provide it to us. For example, we may collect your name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and credit card information.

You can choose not to provide personally identifiable information to us. However, if you do not provide such information, you may not be able to create or use an account or make a purchase, so your ability to use Coinnect may be limited to those features, if any, available to unregistered users.

Device Information

We may collect “device information” anytime you download and/or interact with Coinnect. We may collect device information such as your device’s IP address, device and browser type, operating system version, and information regarding your browsing activities. We may also collect and use technical data and related information including, but not limited to, technical information about your mobile device, system and application software, and peripherals.

Coinnect may also use cookies to provide us with information about the activities of users. This could include information such as pages and content viewed; the date, time and duration of visits; whether a user clicked on an advertisement. Cookies can also be used to recognize users and maintain data related to a particular individual, including passwords. Cookies cannot be used to access any personally identifiable information from your device. If you would prefer not to accept cookies, you can modify the settings on your specific web browser. You may refer to your browser’s online help feature or the user’s manual for instructions on how to do this.

If you have disabled cookies, however, you may be unable to view and access some or all portions of Coinnect. The portions you can view and access may not function properly.

We, our advertisers, or our ad serving companies may also use “web beacons” or “clear gifs” to determine which advertisements and promotions users have seen and how users responded to them.

If you are located in the European Union, we rely on several legal grounds to collect and process personally identifiable information that relates to you. In some instances, we will process personally identifiable information with your consent. In other situations, we will process personally identifiable information where we have a legitimate interest to perform the processing, where processing the information is necessary for the performance of a contract with you, or where we have a legal obligation to process the information. You may learn more about the legal basis for processing information for a particular purpose by contacting us as described below.

Disclosure and Use of Information We Collect

We use personally identifiable information for the purposes for which it is provided and for the other purposes described in this Privacy Policy. For example, we may use personally identifiable information to inform you that you have won a prize; to send you a prize and/or notify you that a prize has been sent; to communicate with you about Coinnect, other products and services, upcoming events, and for marketing and promotional purposes; to respond to e-mails; to provide customer support; to establish your online account; for statistical analysis of users’ behavior; for product development and content improvement; to inform advertisers as to how many visitors have seen or clicked their advertisements; and to customize content and layout of Coinnect.

Financial and other information collected may be used to check your qualifications for registration, to bill you for products and services, and notify the relevant taxing and regulatory authorities regarding payments or prizes.

We reserve the right to share, rent, sell or otherwise disclose information that we collect on Coinnect to third parties, including disclosure of information to third parties for marketing. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, we may disclose personally identifiable information to affiliated companies, our parent company and sister companies, and may publicly disclose your name or user name publicly if you win a prize. Others may also be able to see your name on Coinnect if you participate in any contest or tournament.

We may also provide your personally identifiable information to third parties who provide services to us. For example, we may provide information to third parties who use that information to operate, develop or improve Coinnect; who fulfill, send and/or deliver prizes; who provide billing services or process payments; and to companies who provide marketing services on our behalf.

We will also disclose personally identifiable information to notify the relevant taxing and regulatory authorities of prize winnings.

We may use usage information to help us run and maintain Coinnect, customize the visitor’s experience, study traffic patterns, and generally learn about usage of Coinnect. We may disclose this information to our affiliates and third parties, including, but not limited to, our advertisers.

We may use cookies to recognize users and maintain data related to a particular individual, including passwords, if you choose to have your browser “remember” this information.

We may use and disclose personally identifiable information and device information when we have reason to believe that using and/or disclosing this information is necessary to investigate, identify, contact, or take action against someone who may have engaged in illegal activities or breached any applicable license, terms of use, or other rules, or who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property, other users of Coinnect, or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities. We may also disclose personally identifiable information when we reasonably believe that the law requires it.

We might sell or buy subsidiaries, or business units, or become involved in a merger, acquisition or other sale of all or some of the company. In such transactions, personally identifiable information generally is one of the transferred business assets.

We are located in the United States and by providing personally identifiable information to Coinnect, you recognize that you are providing such information in the United States and acknowledge that the personally identifiable information will be processed in the United States. Third parties and affiliated companies to whom we may disclose personally identifiable information may be located outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area.

International data transfers

The information we collect may be stored and processed in, and transferred between any of the countries in which we operate for the purposes specified in this policy. This includes destinations outside the European Economic Area (EEA) that do not have similar protections in place regarding your data and restrictions on its use as set out in this policy.

By submitting your personal information to us, you consent to these transfers, storing and processing. We will take all reasonable efforts to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this policy.

Personal information that you publish on Coinnect may be available via the internet around the world. We cannot prevent the use or misuse of such information by others.

Tracking

We do not track users across websites, and therefore Coinnect does not respond to “do not track” signals. Nor do we authorize the collection of personally identifiable information on Coinnect for third party use.

Privacy of Children

Coinnect is a general audience service, and is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information from users of Coinnect who are under the age of 13.

If we become aware that a Coinnect user is under the age of 13 and has participated in activities requiring the disclosure of personally identifiable information, we will remove that child’s information from our files. No information collected from children under the age of 13 will be knowingly used for marketing or promotional purposes.

Updating Your Information

If you would like to review and/or request changes to any of your personally identifiable information collected through Coinnect, you may email the Coinnect administrator at support@coinnectapp.net.

Security

Information transmitted on the Internet and/or stored on systems attached to the Internet is not 100% secure. As a result, we do not ensure, warrant, or guarantee the security or integrity of such information. We will not be responsible for disclosure of any information due to errors in transmission or the unauthorized acts of third parties.

You help to maintain the security of your personally identifiable information stored in our systems by keeping your username and password confidential and protecting against unauthorized access to your password and to your device. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared device.

Advertisements and Links to Other Websites

While you are using Coinnect, you may be linked or directed to other third-party sites that are beyond our control. Each of these third-party sites may have a privacy policy different from ours. For example, you might click on a link or banner ad that will take you off Coinnect. Through the use of third-party cookies, an advertiser may be electronically notified when visitors view or click on its advertisement.

These links and banners may take you to sites of advertisers, sponsors, and co-branding partners. Please review the privacy policies of these sites. We are not responsible for any actions or policies of such third parties.
