How to play
Press and hold a coin, then drag across touching coins of the same colour without letting go. Coins count as touching in any direction — including diagonally — so chains can snake across the board. Let go to collect the chain.
Three coins is the minimum. Longer chains are worth disproportionately more: up to six coins pays 10 points each, seven or more pays 20 each, and ten or more pays 25 each. A ten-coin chain is worth 250 points, more than eight separate three-coin chains. Dragging back onto the previous coin undoes your last step, so you can change your mind mid-chain.
You have sixty seconds. That is the same round length used in the app, so the score you make here is a fair indication of how you would place in a real tournament.
What’s different in the app
This page is a practice board and nothing more. There are no prizes attached to it and no account behind it. In the app, the same sixty seconds is played against everyone else in the current tournament — a new one opens every four hours, six times a day, and the top three scores each round win gift cards. Entry is free and no purchase is ever necessary.

Why we put the game on the web
Because this genre has an honesty problem. In 2020 the UK’s advertising regulator ruled against a major match-3 publisher for adverts showing puzzles that barely existed in the actual game. Screenshots and trailers can be made to show anything. A playable board can’t.
So rather than ask you to trust a video, we’ve put the thing itself on the page. If you enjoy it, the app is where it turns into a competition.
